Our First Mexico Independence Day

Most people think May 5th is Mexico Independence Day, that would be false. It is actually begins September 16th. In honor of this, we went to one of our favorite establishments in Mexico to celebrate with them. 

La Palapa is an amazing restaurant run by brothers Tony, Carlos and Ernesto. They really are the kindest people we have met. 

Many of our friends and neighbors were also there so to say it was a quiet party would be a lie - it was a full night of music, dancing, drinking and eating.
